About HL Digital

A content and SEO studio,
built to be easy to verify

HL Digital plans and produces content and search work for people and organisations that operate online. Everything is scoped in writing, priced in your currency and delivered digitally.

01 — Who we are

A studio, described plainly

HL Digital is a digitally delivered content and SEO studio. We are not a marketplace and we do not resell someone else's work: what you buy is produced against a brief we agree with you.

The catalogue is deliberately explicit. Each service says what you get, what it is billed by and how long it takes, so you can decide without a sales call. If what you need is not listed, we quote it before any work begins.

We are a small firm, and we say so plainly. There are no departments, no account managers and no regional offices. The person who scopes your work is the person who produces it, which is why the scope has to be honest before it is agreed — there is nobody further down the line to absorb an over-promise.

That size is also the reason the catalogue is written the way it is. Publishing the scope, the unit of billing and the turnaround for every service removes the sales conversation entirely. You compare what is written, decide, and we spend the budget on the work rather than on winning it.

Headley & Leighton Limited is registered in Hong Kong and works with clients wherever they are, because everything we produce is delivered online. The price you see is the price you pay: any tax that applies to your order is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm it.

We would rather under-claim than over-claim. This page describes how the business operates today, and nothing more. There are no client names, case studies, awards or headcount figures on this site, because we will not publish a claim you cannot verify. Anything you can check — our services, prices, policies and contact details — is published here in full.

18 services published in the catalogue, each with its own scope and price
02 — Our mission

Make good content and search work available to buy the way anything else is bought online — a clear scope, a visible price, an agreed turnaround, and a policy you can read before you pay.

03 — How we operate

How the work reaches you

Four things that are true of every engagement, from a single service to an ongoing programme.

Content and SEO

Keyword and competitor research, writing, on-page work and technical search fixes, produced to a brief we agree with you in writing first.

Delivered digitally

Work arrives as documents, files and published changes. Nothing is shipped, so there is no freight, customs or physical handling to pay for or wait on.

Priced in your currency

Catalogue prices convert to the currency you select at checkout. Any tax that applies to your order is calculated and shown before you pay, never added afterwards.

Agreed turnaround

Each catalogue service carries its own turnaround. Custom work is quoted with a timeline, and if the timeline slips we tell you before the date, not after it.

04 — How an engagement runs

From first email to finished work

The sequence below is the same for a single article and for a running programme. Only the size of the scope changes.

  1. You tell us what you need

Either pick a service from the catalogue, or describe the problem through the contact form. There is no qualification call to sit through. If your need does not map to a catalogue line, we say which parts it does map to and quote the rest.

  2. We put the scope in writing

For catalogue work the scope is already published on the service page. For custom work we send a written scope: what is included, what is excluded, the unit of billing, the price in your currency and the turnaround. You approve it before anything is charged.

  3. You pay for what is agreed

Payment is taken at checkout for catalogue services, or against an invoice for quoted work. The invoice matches the quote line for line. There is no retainer, no minimum term and no automatic renewal to cancel.

  4. We brief and produce

We ask the questions we need answered — your markets, your audience, your competitors, anything you must or must not say — and then produce the work. If a brief answer changes the scope, we come back to you rather than guessing.

  5. You review, we revise

Deliverables arrive with a short note on what was done and why. Revisions within the agreed scope are part of the price. Requests that change the scope are quoted as new work, so you are never billed for something you did not approve.

  6. You decide what happens next

Nothing rolls forward on its own. If the work paid its way, buy the next piece. If it did not, stop — there is no notice period, and no data or content is held back.

05 — How work is priced

Why the price is what it is

Pricing follows the size of the deliverable and the research behind it, and it is published before you ask. Every figure on the pricing page can be traced to a service page that says what you get for it.

Billed by a stated unit

Every service names the unit it is sold in — per article, per page, per audit, per month of reporting. You can multiply it yourself and know the total before you reach checkout.

Priced for the work, not the logo

The same service costs the same whether the buyer is one person or a large organisation. Price follows the size of the deliverable and the research behind it.

Quoted in your currency

Catalogue prices are shown and charged in the currency you select, so you are not converting figures or absorbing a surprise on the card statement.

No fees you have not seen

There is no setup fee, no management percentage and no charge for a proposal. What appears at checkout or on the invoice is what was published or quoted.

Custom work is quoted against a written scope before it starts. If the scope changes while the work is running, the change is quoted and approved before it is done. See pricing and the refund policy for the full terms.

06 — What we value

What you can expect from us

These are working rules, not slogans. Each one is visible somewhere you can check it.

Scope before spend

Every service lists what is included, the unit it is billed in and the turnaround, before you pay. If something is outside that list, we say so and quote it separately rather than absorbing it quietly.

The same person throughout

Whoever scopes your work is who produces it and answers your questions. Nothing is passed to an account layer, so nothing is lost in the hand-off.

Plain reporting

We report what was delivered, what changed and what we would do next, in language you can act on without a dashboard tour.

Open to every size

A single article for one freelancer and a running programme for an established organisation are quoted and delivered on the same terms.

07 — What to expect

What you get, and what we will not claim

The first list is what every client receives. The second is the set of things we deliberately do not promise, because they are not ours to promise.

You can expect

  • A written scope before any payment, for catalogue and custom work alike.
  • One point of contact who knows your work, from the first email to the last delivery.
  • An acknowledgement of every enquiry within one business day.
  • Delivery on the stated turnaround, or notice before the date if something will move it.
  • Revisions inside the agreed scope at no extra cost, and a written quote for anything outside it.
  • A refund handled as published in the refund policy, rather than argued case by case.

What we do not do

  • We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue. Those are decided by search engines and by your market, so no honest supplier can promise them.
  • We do not buy links, post to link networks or use any tactic that would put your site at risk of a penalty.
  • We do not work on site or in person. Everything is briefed, produced and reviewed online.
  • We do not take on work we cannot do well. If a request is outside what we do, we say so and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
08 — Who does the work

The people behind the work

Your work is planned and produced by the same practitioner who scopes it.

Team details to be added

We publish names and roles only once they are confirmed, so nothing here is a placeholder person. Until then, contact us and you will reach the practitioner who would run your work.

09 — Credibility

What we hold ourselves to

Commitments you can hold us to, and the published pages that back each of them.

  • We describe services in the terms we can deliver them, and we quote custom work before starting it.
  • We publish our refund, privacy, terms and complaint-handling policies in full, and we apply them as written.
  • We acknowledge every enquiry and complaint within one business day, and resolve complaints within 10 business days.
  • We keep pricing, tax and currency handling visible at checkout, with no charge you have not seen first.
