Overview

Posts written by someone who read the sources

Each post runs to roughly 1,500 words and starts with an agreed brief: the query it targets, the reader it speaks to, the angle, and what the reader should be able to do by the end. Writing begins only once that brief is signed off, which is the step that prevents a draft coming back wholly off-target.

Research is done before drafting, not retrofitted. We read the primary sources, cite them where a claim needs support, and say plainly when something is an opinion rather than an established fact. Google's guidance on experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust is not a checklist you tick, but a post that names its sources and admits its limits reads better to a human as well as to a search engine.

Every draft is read by an editor before it reaches you, and the on-page elements come with it: title tag, meta description, heading structure, internal links to your existing pages, and article schema as ready-to-paste JSON. You get a Google Doc you can comment on directly, and one round of revisions is included in the price.

Who it is for

Who buys posts one at a time

Founders who cannot keep writing

You wrote the first ten posts yourself. Buy the next ones per post rather than hiring for a job that is not yet full-time.

Marketing teams with a fixed calendar

Order the exact number of posts your calendar needs this month, with no retainer to negotiate.

Technical or regulated subjects

Topics where a careless claim is a real problem, and where citing the source matters more than the word count.

Why HL Digital

Why buy writing by the post

The brief is agreed first

You approve the angle and the outline before drafting, so revisions are about wording, not direction.

A human editor every time

No draft reaches you unread. The editor checks the facts, the structure and the house style.

Publish-ready, not just written

Meta text, headings, internal links and schema arrive with the copy, so publishing is a paste, not a project.

FAQs

Common questions

What if 1,500 words is not enough for the topic?
Tell us at brief stage. Some subjects genuinely need more room, and we will quote the extra length before writing starts rather than surprising you afterwards.
How many rounds of revision are included?
One round against the agreed brief. If the brief changes after drafting, that is new work and we will say so and quote it before proceeding.
Will the post be written by AI?
No. Blog Writing is human-written from research. If you want an AI-assisted draft polished by an editor at a lower price, that is the separate AI-Assisted Article service.
Do you publish it to our site?
We provide publish support: the meta text, headings, links and schema formatted for your platform, and guidance on placing them. We do not need access to your CMS unless you want to give it.
Who owns the finished post?
You do, on payment. There is no attribution requirement and we do not republish the work anywhere else.
Can you write in our existing tone of voice?
Yes. Send a style guide if you have one, or three or four published pieces you consider representative, and the editor will work to them.
